8 KEY ELEMENTS FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL LEADER
When we talk about
leadership we always wonder if a leader is born or made, perhaps one of the 2
aspects or a combination of both, overall a leader is someone outstanding and
different, not necessarily because they seek to be this way; it is rather those
skills, aptitudes and attitudes that excel within a group of people.
Leadership is a
personality trait that many crave but few achieve, being a leader implies
dynamism and a variety of key elements that generate the greatest effectiveness
of the group.
Below we will see some
of these key elements to be an exceptional leader:
1. Communication
It is a fundamental element that allows leaders
to meet the goals every day. Effective communication can create a real
connection with collaborators; this is achieved through their ability to
understand people.
2. Humbleness
A leader doesn't allow their position in the
company makes them feel better or at a higher level than their colleagues, a
leader will not ask his followers to do something he/she can't do, admit
mistakes in front of their team, knows that he/she isn't perfect.
3. Self-Knowledge
Having a clear and precise idea of their
leadership style, as well as their strengths and weaknesses, they make use of effective strategies that
allow them to rely on those strengths and counter their weaknesses.

A leader needs to warn when any member of their
team is performing an inefficient work, but that must be done in a gentle form
to not generate resentment.

points of view other than their own, motivates the team members to express
their ideas, not hinder their efforts.

A leader is one who takes the difficult
decisions and cares for the welfare of his team, he stands firm when things
become difficult, so this motivates the team to be equally brave.

A leader shares the credit for the success,
effort and offers praise. Promote the success of their team as much as his own,
try to inspire others to give their best and to progress constantly not only
for the good of the group but also for the personal development of each
employee.
